What happened on April 19 2007?

12:20am

On their way back from Sukira; Super Junior members Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Shindong and their two managers get into a dangerous car accident.

A witness later claims that Super Junior’s car drove from Yeoui-Do towards the Olympic tunnel at Mapo Bridge, and after approximately 1 kilometer, the car slid and flipped over. Eunhyuk is the first to climb out of the vehicle. Shindong has minor injuries, therefore he gains the initiative in watching over the other members, “How are you feeling… How are you feeling?” After recovering from his shock he begins to cry. Eunhyuk is bleeding from the corners of his eyes and is suffering from several other open wounds. Leeteuk is conscious but has a torn and bleeding forehead, therefore causing him to be transported through a carrier bed. Kyuhyun falls unconscious. The members and managers are immediately admitted to Gangnam Sungmo Hospital.

1:20am

Kyuhyun’s injury is clarified to be the most serious. He is admitted into Gangnam Sungmo Hospital’s A&E for a CT scanning. The rest of the group are resting after an emergency check up. When the car flipped over it landed on Leeteuk’s side, therefore causing his injuries to be in a critical condition.

2:34am

Kyuhyun continues to undergo emergency rescue. Kyuhyun has completed his CT checkup and is diagnosed with broken ribs that are piercing into his lungs, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk go in for a CT scanning. The police say that this accident has been caused from “unfamiliarity with driving”.

2:49am

Kyuhyun suddenly goes unconscious and the doctors try to save him. The rest of the members are moved to Samsung Hospital. An investigator says that the front wheel is punctured; supposedly being the cause of the sliding. They later find that the driver was speeding.

3am

Kyuhyun is out of harm’s way and has been transferred to Samsung Hospital. Kyuhyun’s parents are now rushing to the hospital.

4.30am

Shindong is able to carry the bags of the other members. Kyuhyun’s mother is holding Kyuhyun’s hand and praying, Kyuhyun’s dad reassures everyone that his son will be fine. The rest of the Super Junior members call to express their concern for the injured members and Kyuhyun’s parents.

6:57am

Kyuhyun has woken but is still in a state of shock.

8:30am

Kyuhyun uses artificial respiration due to breathing difficulties.

10:30am

Kyuhyun is in need of an emergency tracheotomy operation, however they are not able to undergo the surgery due to his critical condition.

Kyuhyun has to rely on a CPR machine as he is suffering from pneumathorax. A tube has been inserted into his lungs to help him breathe. Leeteuk and Eunhyuk both undergo CT scannings and MRIs. Both members have received stitches on their backs after pulling out various shards of glass.

11:30am

Kangin says, “I wanted to visit the members but was not able to go. My heart aches. There are too many reporters. They’re not creating a quiet environment for the members… I’m afraid there will be more chaos if I go. However I will visit them soon.”

12:05pm

Kyuhyun’s father says, “My son is still in A&E, suffering breathing difficulties. The rib is injured and the lungs are now incapable of helping him breathe. The pelvis is also fractured. I cannot explain everything in detail with my present mood. Kyuhyun needs to have an operation immediately, but his chest is seriously injured… It will worsen the situation.”

Kyuhyun loses consciousness again.

12:51pm

Kyuhyun is brought back to consciousness once again but communication is difficult for him. Leeteuk also has glass in his back, which is removed the next morning. Kyuhyun’s body and forehead are injured, thankfully there are no signs of brain damage.

1:30pm

Leeteuk’s operation is successful.

2:15pm

Kyuhyun is released from A&E.

Hospital personnel say, “Kyuhyun needs at least five days of observation in order for us to give an accurate statement about his current condition.”

2:30pm

Kangin says, “I called Eunhyuk because I was not able to go to the hospital today. Eunhyuk says he is fine. Kyuhyun is very weak due to him not being able to have the operation. His factured rib bone is affecting his breathing system. His condition is serious, therefore the operation cannot carry on (otherwise the situation will worsen).”

3:30pm

SM representatives tell reporters, “Kyuhyun has been released from A&E. Although he is now out of harm’s way, he needs to be observed for the next few days. The other members are expected recover in a few weeks, so please do not worry. Sukira schedules will most probably be handled by Sungmin and Ryeowook from today on. If they are able to fully recover, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk will continue to host. Super Junior-T will not be record for Music Bank today.”

SM cancels all music show recordings.

The article said that he and Victoria will be spilling over with tears in the video, which is probably going to make me being to bawl my eyes out. Even so, I can’t wait to see his acting come to life. It seems we’re getting a lot more Kyuhyun then I imagined! (source)

not-delusional: sj-secrets: This K-ELF knows what she’s talking about. (credits to the blog here) I know earlier I keep talking about how plenty of ELFs had turned me off with their insistence on getting the GDA Daesang. The reason for the turn-off is that their justification just don’t make sense, no matter how you look at it. Here is a few general ideas that a certain portion of them had came up with: 1. To take the award back. (this is the most idiotic reasoning i’ve ever came across, and yet at the same time, the most widely used.)2. A present for Heechul and Leeteuk before they leave for the army. (GDA is not a present; it’s an award. There is a difference.)3. Because the boys had continuously hinted or outright say that they want it. (which group didn’t?) But the bottom line is, I find all their arguments so absurd that it’s hard to take them seriously. But you’ve got to say that they are indeed very serious about every word and they will fight tooth and nail to clinch the award. On the other hand, this post here is something that I came across on sj-secrets (of all places) and it’s credited to kyuskies. This is by far the most logical reasoning that I’ve came across so far. I won’t go as far as to say that this is the reason why ELFs should aim for the GDA Daesang, but the point raised here is worth a thought. At the very least, it bested all the previous ‘points’ that other people had raised.  So at the moment, I am considering the point raised here and analyzing it slowly. I hope people who find this post will also think about it carefully.

Six years is quite a while, and for six years ELF has been fighting long and hard for the amazing fifteen. But as Siwon said, “You don’t have to be an ELF from the start, but an ELF until the very end.” I carry this with me everywhere I go, because alas, I was not an ELF from the start. I became an ELF after Kyuhyun’s accident, after Zhoumi and Henry joined SJ-M, after Hangeng’s lawsuit. I used to beat myself up about that. But in the end I always reminded myself: as long as I call myself ELF and love Super Junior to infinity, there is absolutely nothing I should be beating myself up for.

I’ve been in this fandom long enough to know that we have scars too. We never stop to acknowledge them because the first thing on our minds is, “Super Junior. Is Super Junior okay?” That was when I realized that Super Junior is so different from other idols out there, including american pop stars. No one tells them to thank us, to remind us about how much they love us and will care for us. Yet Super Junior finds it so important to tell us day by day how much they appreciate and treasure us, no matter how bad we are, they always remind us of their love. They have more than enough fans to know that they don’t even have to tell us these things, yet they still do. And that’s why we love Super Junior so much more than other groups and singers, why we don’t simply become infatuated with their looks or talents, but for who they are as people.

Rather a fan besotted with her idol, ELF and Super Junior are a family. We love each other and it doesn’t take words to express it. So many others simply say, “We love you. Thanks for the support.” Super Junior constantly thanks us, shows us that they aren’t possible without ELF, loves us day by day. They are never afraid to be the typical little boys they are. They fight, they cry, they joke. And although Super Junior says that there is no them without us, there is also no us without Super Junior. We are a family and there’s absolutely nothing else to it.

To the boys who make sure to keep us smiling day by day, who go through so much and still never forget those crazy little fangirls who stand right behind them… All I have to say is that I am eternally grateful for the beautiful fifteen and how far they have come. I am eternally grateful to what they have accomplished and I promise to make them smile as much as they have made me smile. That is my promise. My promise to believe.

Girls’ Generation gained 3.7 million views in 1 day.

SMTOWN ranks their artists according to music video views. SM was extremely impressed with how Super Junior got 3 million in two days, but now they’re back with the mind set of Girls’ Generation being the top group of the entertainment since the girls have gained nearly 4 million views in just a day. Please watch the Mr. Simple video and comment. We’re almost Top 10 in the YouTube charts of Most Discussed and we should continue to keep up with the views in order to keep Super Junior on top of the rankings and SM impressed. Please help for the sake of Super Junior’s status within the company. We have to show SM that Super Junior is on top no matter how hard SM promotes their girls. Click here to help!
